Academic Services

Testing
Village Ed provides educational testing using the Woodcock-Johnson V (WJ V) Tests of Achievement. This comprehensive assessment provides a snapshot of a student's academic performance. Optional sub-tests can be added to the basic evaluation to gather specific information around dyslexia or other specific academic topics.
*This test meets the North Carolina Home School Nationally Standardized Testing Requirement.

Interventions and Tutoring
Village Ed collaborates with families and schools to provide targeted academic support for students with and without disabilities. We use data to plan and implement research-based interventions and closely monitor student progress. We believe in close collaboration with families and/or school personnel to ensure a unified approach to supporting students.
**Village Ed providers are approved
under NCSEAA. ESA+ funds may be
used to pay for our services for
students with disabilities.
