Counseling Services

Village Ed offers in-person or virtual counseling services to children, teens, and adults. We specialize in supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, self-esteem, family dynamics

and parenting issues, adjustments/transitions,

peer relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, self-injury, identity development, and other mental health concerns.

We also aid teens as they navigate potential college and career decisions through career counseling activities, support with the college search, college application assistance, essay writing support, and college planning and transition.

Rates and Insurance

The session fees are as follows:

Assessment/First Session (55 minutes) $175.00
Therapy Session (55 minutes) $150.00

We accept the following types of payment methods: cash, check, and/or Paypal.

Village Ed providers are approved under NCSEAA. ESA+ funds may be used to pay for our services for children or adolescents with disabilities.

At this time, we do not bill insurance, although we are able to provide a superbill for you upon request, which you may be able to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Most insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to reimburse for counseling services. You are responsible for contacting your insurance provider in order to confirm your mental health counseling benefits. Payment is due at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy

A late cancellation fee of $75 per session will be charged if you do not cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment or if you “no show.” Fees must be paid prior to scheduling a follow-up appointment.
